I just couldn't help but put these two pics of Jules up. The cutest ever. And I'm being unbiased when I say that.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for helping us out these past few weeks. You have really helped a great deal. Couldn't have done it w/o you. Seems Wolfie is doing better and better at eating normal foods that we have. Should have started this much sooner. His attitude is much better also around Sebastian and Jules.

Well, Sebastian is 2 weeks old today and doing rather well. He hasn't gained weight like he should but all signs seem to show that he will in time. He is sleeping pretty well and we are pleased about that. Wolfie isn't taking this new addition too well. He throws more tantrums then normal. Juliette loves the new toy, I mean baby.

We are still at the hospital as of 11:30 am on Thursday. Sebastian didn't sleep as well last night as previous nights. That's not unexpected, just a bit disappointing. He certainly loves being swaddled. Cathy is still in some pain.

Wolfgang (and Jules) got a new, much desired backpack from their baby brother. He just loves loves loves it as you can tell. I guess now that if his little brother keeps giving cool gifts all the time, things might work out. Sebastian slept from 11 to 6 last night so we got a good bit of sleep ourselves. He is starting to open his eyes more and more.

A new boy (name is tba for now) joined us Monday, July 12th 2010 at 3:25. Mom and baby are doing very well. A C-Section was necessary b/c he had become transverse in the past few days and there was no guarantee of him going back to head down.

He weighed 8 lb 9 oz and was 21 inches. By contrast, our other two kids were 7lb, 1oz and 7lb, 5oz. So, we aren't used to such a big newborn.

He slept from midnight to six this morning which is nice. Feeding hasn't gone as smoothhly as we'd like, but I'm sure he will come around. Here are a couple pics to start out.

At 11:30 Monday morning, we are in a holding pattern until Dr Joseph gets back to us in an hour or so. The baby is currently transverse. He tried to turn her (the nurse who does the sonogram may have let it slip, perhaps), but hasn't had any luck yet. He will give us all the options when he sees us. It could be a C-Section now, later, try to turn and deliver now. We will let you know.

I was able to read Wolfie's mind at this point, "Ahhhh, I will soon have two small siblings to push around and bully. I will have two pair of feet to pull and throw off balance, two heads to hug and squeeze too tight. Can't wait, should be fun. Hahahahaha!!"

Three days away from seeing the new boy or girl. Can't wait, but then again, I think I can wait. I have started to enjoy sleeping through the night lately (you can all tell by now that this is Greg and not Cathy since I mentioned sleeping through the night, Cathy wouldn't be writting that statement).

I am going on the record that Jules will not be a fan of the new baby at first. Especially when I am holding him or her. She won't care for that, but we will make it through it.

Wolfie is really enjoying the flowers we planted the other day in his little pots. He can't wait to smell the flowers.

The pics were taken at Braden's 2nd birthday party. I just thought they were too cute to pass up.

Swim Lessons

Wolfie finished his swim lessons on Friday in the middle of a rain storm caused by the hurricane down south. There was no lightning or thunder, so they finished it up while we all ran for cover. It was coming down pretty good and was real fun getting to the car afterward. He had a blast and now can jump in and reach under w/o problems (for the most part). Here he is with his friend Elaina.

Wolfie is nearly done with swimming lessons and I got to go this afternoon and watch. Looks like he has a blast, though he has a great time whatever he does. He truly is a happy kid. He just had a big grin on the way home.
